Senspace Launches SB-01 with Five Artist Cassette Tape Collection!

The “SB-01” is an intelligent digital boombox that can play exclusive digital cassettes on Senspace’s music player found at senspace.studio/player (launching July 12th).

The five cassette releases accompanying the SB-01 include Senspace’s first single "New Funk Technology" and two exclusive beat tapes each (four total) from Pentatonic Jr. and Kepi La Wiwi!

“New Funk Technology” ft. Dr. Booth, Kepi La Wiwi, Little Drip, Pentatonic Jr.

“New Funk Technology '' features boom-bap bard, Dr. Booth, the learned lyricist Kepi La Wiwi, the hidden gem of Ma Ma Forest, Little Drip and prodigious producer Pentatonic Jr. from Denim Beach. The song commemorates the beginning of Senspace, as we follow Senmaster and Jiro and their cast of character friends on their adventures around their mysterious planet and beyond.

In the animated music video for "New Funk Technology," Senmaster meets their friends across a wide range of familiar yet foreign locales, culminating with the full cast of characters coming together in a new dimension. Along the way, Senmaster encounters a mysterious digital device "SB-01," the key to a world of music from Senspace’s characters.

“Goofy” by Pentatonic Jr.

Introducing "Goofy" the “Day Side” of a dual cassette release from multi-instrumentalist producer and Denim Beach native, Pentatonic Jr.. The label behind this release is Denim Beach’s "Coastal Groove Records," an indie label known for their smooth sounds. 

In the "Goofy" tape, Pentatonic Jr. takes the wide-range of vibes and sensations that they feel from their surf trips and transforms them into a unique musical melange. From city pop to dance music to hip-hop, this cross-genre tape captures the shifting nature of space and time in a one-of-kind, musical storytelling experience.

“Regular” by Pentatonic Jr.

Introducing "Regular," the “Night Side” of a dual cassette release from multi-instrumentalist producer and Denim Beach native, Pentatonic Jr.. The label behind this release is Denim Beach’s "Coastal Groove Records," an indie label known for their smooth sounds.

The tape was recorded on a sleepless night: Pentatonic Jr. found inspiration cruising along the coastline, gazing at the moonlit sea and inserted those feelings into this beat tape. On that night, waves crashing, the scent of the ocean, a starry sky, softly glowing streetlights, and bustling nightlife, all became part of this impromptu composition.

From its dreamy, introspective opening that captures a sense of unease, "Regular" weaves together mellow, lo-fi, slow-tempo techno and sultry jazz beats with smooth piano melodies–all perfect for warm summer nights.

“Day Treatment” by Kepi La Wiwi

“Day Treatment,” an awe-inspiring 60-minute instrumental, is the first cassette and “Day Side” edition of a dual tape release by the wise Kepi La Wiwi of the Ma Ma Forest. Evergreen Echoes, a label dedicated to creating timeless melodies, is behind this one-of-a-kind release.

“Night Treatment” by Kepi La Wiwi

The wise Kepi La Wiwi presents a collection of healing sounds gathered in search for serenity in the “Night Treatment,” the second cassette and “Night Side” edition in an exclusive dual tape release. Evergreen Echoes, a label dedicated to creating timeless melodies, is behind this release.

"Night Treatment" invites listeners to lose themselves in mysterious and fantastical sounds, like echoes from the depths of the Ma Ma Forest during the late hours of the night.

The relaxed soundscape evokes images of nature and outer space, with gentle piano melodies reminiscent of shimmering stars and soft reverberations bouncing around deep in the woods.
